Sighting...

Posted by broa on Oct 13 2017 - 9:59pm

Last Thursday, a certain C202 Scout whose initials may be JD, and who was much taller than when last seen by this humble SM, was observed after a triple overtime water polo game.  Tough as they are, those C202 Scouts are always amazing as they have proven time and time again to have energy to spare.  In this case, he had just enough juice left over to put his uniform on, gather his handbook, Troop book, and Eagle Leadership Service Project Book (along with some specific other material) as described at SaddlebackDistrict.org on the Eagle Advancement pages, then  travel to Roundtable at Saddleback Church to meet with a district represetitive for "book check".  Chances are that everything is in order and that he will be receiving an email in the next few days inviting him to pick a date for an Eagle Board of Review.  Let's keep our fingers crossed, our prayers in mention, and stay tuned for a possible very nice announcement of rank advancement.

Rank Advancement Statistics...

Posted by broa on Jul 14 2017 - 4:54pm

First, it should be said that all C202 members should be very proud of their Scouting Trail experiences to this point, no matter what Rank they earn before aging out.  Exceptional Scouts attend the NSJ.  Noteworthy, regarding this group of exceptional Scouts, is that our NJ Troop Troop C202 has had an established goal that began at the first meeting and continues today.  That goal is to support all efforts for advancement to the Rank of Eagle. The following statistics illustrate our achievement.  Stay tuned for the numbers...
